So the other night as we were sitting in our hotel room in Mississauga, ON and flipping through channels I came across "Tom Green's House Tonight" on the Comedy Network (Canada's Version of Comedy Central).

I would describe "Tom Green's House Tonight" as having production qualities somewhere between a public access TV show and home movies shot on a Hi-8 camcorder. However the show also has the same caliber of guests as you would find on a "real" late night TV show, the night we watched we watch the guests were Rob Schieder and Hailey Duff, 2 people who I would not call huge names, but I also wouldn't call unknowns that you would see on public access.

As we were watching the show I was kind depressed to realize that this show, which is obviously shot on 2 DV-cams and then broadcast live (a big part of the show is people calling in from there Skype video chats), most likely has a larger viewership than Music Is Art Live at the Center, a show that I worked on and won a Telly Award for.

Now I realize that the Telly Award is a fake a award, Stephen Colbert has made that quite clear (video1 video2). Also wikipedia helps to clarify that point used to help clarify that point. It seems that someone has removed everything that used to be on the wikipedia site and replaced it with something that doesn't make the telly award look bad.

But I've digressed, the real point I'm trying to make is that Music Is Art could do much better in the viewership department, maybe they just need to move to the Living Room of a quasi-celebrity, and find a host that's been married to Drew Barrymore.
