Last summer I was introduced to a place called Pita Pit, now we don't have Pita Pit here in Buffalo, but many of the surrounding cities do have locations. Because of this I like to visit Pita Pit when I am in one of these cities. So, of course, I had to go to Pita Pit when I went to visit Brett last weekend in Ithaca (where he is going to grad school).
We decided we would do Sunday lunch at Pita Pit (not Sunday brunch, which his friend insisted we should do) we headed over to Pita Pit at 11:00 am only to discover that they don't open until noon on Sundays. "No big deal" we figured "we'll just go there for dinner." So dinner time rolls around and we head over to Pita Pit and wait in line (there was a family in line ahead of us) only to be told "you'll never believe this guys, but we're out of pitas."
Now this was a few hours before closing, and I would assume that if you run a place called "Pita Pit" that when you are getting close to running out of pitas you would send someone to Tops to go get some more, but instead the guys working there were just turning people away saying "sorry, we're out of pitas."
